Where does revenue generated by ChemoClothes go?
Naturally, this is the most important and most frequent question we receive about our organization, and for good reason. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we are dedicated to keeping our expenses for fundraising events and administrative costs as low as possible.
Initially, most of the funds we raised went to such large cancer research-oriented organizations as Susan G. Komen for the Cure. But now we are dedicating our efforts to helping families and organizations in our immediate community that could really use the money. We actively search for local families and organizations that may be appropriate for individual and organizational grants. Individual grant applications are reviewed on a monthly basis, while organizational grant applications are reviewed annually in December.
Proceeds from ChemoClothes are separated into two main types: Family Support and Organizational Funding.
Family Support Grants are determined on a monthly basis based on availability of ChemoClothes funds and number of applicants. Click here to download a copy of the Individual Grant Request form.
Organizational Funding Grants are evaluated on or near December 15th of every year. Amount will be based on the availability of funds raised throughout the year. Click here to download a copy of the Organizational Grant Request form.
